These Terms of Service govern the use of the Plouise online store and purchases made from Plouise.

By accessing our store or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

1. About Plouise

Plouise is an ecommerce business operated through an LLC registered in the United States and supplying customers in the United Kingdom.

2. Eligibility

You must have legal capacity to enter into a purchase contract.

If you are under 18, purchases should be made by or with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian where required.

3. Products

We make reasonable efforts to display product information accurately.

Minor differences may occur between photographs and the physical product due to:

screen settings;
manufacturing variations;
lighting;
product updates; or
packaging changes.

Such differences do not affect your rights where a product is materially different from its description.

4. Orders

Submitting an order does not necessarily mean that we have accepted it.

We may reject or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where:

the product is unavailable;
payment cannot be authorised;
fraud or misuse is suspected;
delivery cannot reasonably be completed;
an obvious pricing or listing error has occurred; or
fulfilling the transaction would violate applicable law.

If we cancel an order after receiving payment, the affected amount will be refunded.

5. Prices and Currency

Store prices are displayed primarily in British pounds sterling (GBP).

Where your card or payment account is denominated in another currency, your financial institution may apply its own conversion rate or fees.

These charges are determined by the financial institution and are outside Plouise's control.

6. Obvious Pricing Errors

Although we take reasonable care when displaying prices, mistakes may occasionally occur.

If a product is listed at a price that is obviously incorrect due to a technical or administrative error, we may cancel the affected order before fulfilment.

Any amount already paid for a cancelled order will be refunded.

7. Payment

You agree to provide current, complete and accurate payment and billing information.

Payment processing may be performed by third-party payment service providers.

We may conduct reasonable fraud and transaction verification before dispatching an order.

8. International Fulfilment

Plouise uses an international fulfilment model.

Products may be dispatched directly from suppliers or fulfilment facilities located in Asia.

As a result:

international transit times apply;
packaging may differ between shipments;
orders containing several products may arrive in separate parcels; and
tracking information may update at different times.

9. Import Duties and Taxes

Orders supplied to customers in the United Kingdom are operated on a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) basis as stated in our Shipping Policy.

Applicable import duties and import-related taxes associated with delivery are included as applicable under this arrangement.

Customers should not normally be required to pay additional import charges to receive an eligible shipment.

10. Shipping

Orders are generally processed within 3 business days.

Estimated delivery after dispatch may take up to 20 business days.

Delivery dates are estimates rather than guarantees where delays are caused by carriers, international logistics or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Your statutory rights concerning delivery remain unaffected.

11. Returns and Refunds

Returns, cancellations, defective goods and refunds are governed by our Refund & Return Policy and applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms reduces mandatory UK consumer protections.

12. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, website content owned by Plouise, including branding, text, graphics, product presentation and original visual materials, may not be copied, reproduced, distributed or commercially exploited without permission.

Third-party trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

13. Acceptable Use

You must not use our website:

for unlawful purposes;
to commit fraud;
to interfere with website security;
to introduce malicious software;
to impersonate another person;
to attempt unauthorised access to systems or accounts; or
to infringe intellectual property or other legal rights.

14. Third-Party Services and Links

Our website may contain integrations or links operated by third parties.

We are not responsible for independent third-party websites, content or services outside our reasonable control.

Use of third-party services may also be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

15. Availability

We may:

update products;
discontinue products;
restrict quantities;
refuse transactions where reasonably necessary; or
change the countries or locations to which we deliver.

Any such action remains subject to orders already accepted and mandatory consumer rights.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Plouise will not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

In particular, nothing in these Terms excludes mandatory rights available to consumers under the law applicable to them.

17. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control

We are not responsible for a failure or delay caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, such as:

severe transportation disruption;
natural disasters;
governmental restrictions;
customs disruption;
widespread carrier interruption;
industrial action;
major infrastructure failure; or
similar events.

This section does not remove any mandatory legal remedies available to you.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to our operations, services or legal requirements.

Changes apply prospectively unless otherwise required by law.

The latest revision date will appear at the top of this page.

19. Governing Law and Consumer Rights

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the Plouise operating LLC in its United States jurisdiction of formation, to the extent legally permitted.

However, because Plouise supplies consumers in the United Kingdom, nothing in these Terms deprives UK consumers of mandatory protections available under applicable UK consumer law.

Nothing in these Terms prevents a consumer from bringing a claim before a court or authority that has jurisdiction under applicable law.

20. Language

The official language of these Terms and Plouise's store policies is English.

If a translated version is provided, the English version will prevail to the extent permitted by applicable law, without limiting mandatory consumer protections.
